#228
Dec 08, 2025
If someone told you to meditate for 20 minutes a day, you’d probably say, “Sure, I’ll start Monday”. (Which usually means not now and probably not ever).
Or “I’ll get to that next year”. (Which usually means never).
Or some other valid and rational reason (or excuse) that your brain can find quickly because it doesn’t have the space and capacity to consider how to even begin finding another 20 mins per day in an already bursting at the seams diary.
But inside the 21 Whispers for Happiness e-book is a whisper that even the busiest human on the planet can pull off:
10 seconds of gratitude.
Ten. Seconds.
Less time than scrolling past a cat video on Insta.
Try it now:
Think of one person who helped you become who you are.
I’ll wait…
That tiny pause you just took?
That was gratitude disguised as thoughtfulness - sneaking in the side door while your brain wasn’t guarding it.
And here’s the fun bit:
Gratitude is like compound interest, but nicer.
The more you do it, the richer you feel.
Why gratitude, and why now?
Because life’s not slowing down for you, so your happiness strategies need to be small, sneaky, and immediately doable.
If this made you smile (even just a little), the 21 Whispers for Happiness e-book will be available to download - free for a limited time - from Monday 15 December.
A small gift to take into the new year: simple, practical, and designed to last well beyond Christmas.
You'll find the free download link in next week's Weekly Whisper.
